Using photoshop again and playing about with different edits, the middle two would be my least favourite. I feel they may be over edited or even just don’t have that professional touch. I like the idea of where I can take these edits though, using certain techniques in different ways..

Again, catching someone who isn’t intentionally posing for the camera really lets you see them. I love this natural light, it lets the piece come across as natural and spur of the moment, which it was. It is actually a shot I took during the filming of ‘Creative Minds’ (see below, October time)

Due to a recent power cut, I suddenly became fully aware of the dependancy on light. Not only is it difficult to complete Uni work on a laptop that just ran out of battery, i also discovered it is seemingly impossible to function without the simple power of a lightbulb.

There is something about empty roads at night that is so appealing. Maybe because I recently moved to a city, it is weird to see so many empty streets when hours before there was people rushing to get places.

I find it somewhat eerie that these streets are lit up for people to use, yet there is no-one in sight.

There is something about the light and they way it is caught on the bench.. it is empty right now but imagine all the conversations that have happened there. The good and bad news people have been told. Someone, at some point has sat on that bench and pondered life and possibly decided on an idea, a job, a lifestyle that has changed their life ever since.

I love how streetlights are supposed to illuminate the night streets, but yet you can only see a percentage of whats ahead of you. Leaving what ever is in the shadows a mystery.
